Ahi Tuna
5-7 Minutes
4 Servings
Introduction
The quickest, easiest and delicious fish to prepare for meal or as a salad topper. This version is light and healthy. A great fish to prepare in summer months, although delicious all year round. Prepare with your favorite seasonings to insure you enjoy the taste or try this version to try something different. The trick to tuna is to not overcook. Just like other seafoods it does not take long to cook. It will be too dry and flaky as it comes in the can if you do. If you happen to over prepare make into a fresh tuna salad. Yes, it cooks that quick!

Steps
Place tuna in a pan for seasoning and generously season both sides with creole seasoning, paprika, garlic salt or your favorite seasoning.
Douse fish with lemon juice before adding bread crumbs. This a light and healthy way to ensure that the bread crumbs stay on tuna when searing.
Add EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) to pan, use medium high heat before adding tuna steaks.
Sear on both sides for 1-2 minutes each. The more you cook tuna the drier the fish will be.
It is ready when the middle is still translucent but the outside is seared well.
Slice then plate or add to salad.
Grub it up!
