A Plan; When There's None
Day 14 and Beyond: Taking Care during COVID-19 Self Quarantine
(6-09-20)
I know that for most of us who hunkered down during COVID, right from the beginning, the quarantine lasted much longer than 14 days. And although restrictions are relieved in many states, many homes are continuing to keep restrictions from public spaces through the summer. I am one of those parents. These articles came as an experiment to my writing ability and even if I could last through the 14 days initially by writing every morning for fourteen days and still do all the other tasks throughout my day without missing a beat. It was my own goal that I was successful at completing and it is what brought forth the idea to begin a blog in the first place.

There are actually 59 suggestions listed within the fourteen COVID articles, plus websites for even more variations. The tips listed should not be completed at once. Although there are four on each day, instead, try as one suggestion as you can. For those of you who have no dependents, those are areas you can do for yourself, with your roommate, or with a spouse.
There are four suggestions for each of the 14 articles, try to do one in each category per day and just add an exercise the following day to not overwhelm yourself. Remember, these are just suggestions, and you may tweak, stop, and revise as necessary. If you don't like any of them, that is also fine. I just had some time on my hands for those close in my life who, at the time, needed some input on what I was doing at home with my own children. This was how I maintained some balance and struggled through it, ultimately deciding that it was better to continue quarantine than not.
In June, my daughter's birthday was approaching. I ended up spending some money to keep them entertained at home through the summer. I purchased a bounce house with a slide and a ball pit. We already had a blow-up pool, some fun sprinklers, and a slip-and-slide. So this is how I plan on entertaining them over the summer besides the things we normally do. There will be no traveling this summer, and there will be no parks and playgrounds as of yet.

Good luck, God Bless from me, to you and yours.
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
