Whether you want a collaborative writing partner or guidance as you write your own story, this experience is designed to help transform lived experiences into a structured, meaningful memoir. Together, we explore the moments, themes, and lessons that shape your narrative while preserving the authenticity of your voice.
I work exclusively with nonfiction stories rooted in lived experience, including biographies, family heritage stories of truth, trauma, resilience, and triumph. Whether your goal is publication or personal preservation, the focus remains the same—honoring your experiences and shaping them into a compelling narrative.
Collaborative Interviews
Collaborative writing is a guided, interview-based process designed to bring clarity, structure, and voice to deeply personal stories. It begins with a focused consultation with the primary decision-maker(s), during which we establish the project's direction, the key voices involved, and the overall vision for the work.
From there, I conduct a series of interviews with selected family members or contributors, as needed by the project. These conversations may include one-on-one interviews, group discussions, recorded sessions, and review of personal materials such as letters, journals, or photographs.
Throughout the process, one or two primary contacts remain the consistent points of contact for decision-making and approvals, while additional participants are brought in as needed, depending on the scope of the story.
Each project is developed through an ongoing cycle of listening, organizing, writing, and refining until the narrative reflects the heart of the story being told.

I offer personalized poetry for individuals seeking a unique way to commemorate a life event, honor a loved one, celebrate an achievement, or express thoughts that are difficult to put into words. Each poem is custom-written based on the details, memories, themes, and emotions you wish to preserve.
Because poetry projects are shorter in scope, they typically require less time than memoir or legacy storytelling projects and are often completed within 1–3 business days, depending on complexity and project needs.
