Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

Submission of the initial deposit signifies your full agreement to these Terms and Conditions and establishes a binding working relationship between you (the Client) and BoundlessHIM.com (the Ghostwriter/Editor, Heather Ina).

2. Project Start Date

The project start date begins seven (7) days after receipt of the initial deposit and is initiated with the Initial Memoir Discovery Meeting, which consists of either two (2) 90-minute sessions or one (1) 180-minute session.

3. Initial Meetings and Outline

The initial meetings must be completed within the first week of the project to ensure that a book outline can be completed by the end of the second week.

4. Payment Schedule

Payments are due on a monthly basis, regardless of the Client’s review or feedback status on materials received. Timely payment is required for continued work on the project. Payment reminders will be sent via boundlessHIM.com for easy payment.

5. Late Payments and Additional Charges

Late payments, missed meetings without prior notice, and any project extensions beyond the original contract term will incur additional fees, which will be reflected on the next monthly invoice. These adjustments may change the total project cost.

6. Copyright and Ownership

Full copyright ownership and usage rights for all ghostwritten materials will be transferred to the Client only after the full contract balance has been paid. Until that time, all materials remain the sole intellectual property of BoundlessHIM.com and Heather Ina.

7. Profit Loss Clause and Additional Services

Due to previous profit loss and extended service periods, all monies owed under the contract are due in full and cover only the services outlined in the original agreement. Additional services—including, but not limited to proofreading, book cover design, additional interviews, beta reading, or marketing consultation—are not included in the base contract and must be requested and paid for separately before these services are rendered.

8. Public Use of Sample Work

The Client grants permission for one (1) page of ghostwritten material to be used by BoundlessHIM.com as a confidential writing sample for promotional or portfolio purposes. All identifying details will be omitted or altered unless written consent is provided.

9. Contract Cancellation

Cancellations must be requested at least thirty (30) days before the next monthly payment date. Any payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable, as they cover work already completed and time reserved for the project.

10. Revisions and Scope of Work

Each phase of writing includes one (1) round of minor revisions based on Client feedback. Substantial changes in direction, theme, or structure after work has begun may require a contract amendment and additional fees.

11. Confidentiality

All materials, interviews, and personal details shared by the Client are held in strict confidence and will not be disclosed, shared, or reproduced outside the project scope without the Client’s written consent.

12. Communication and Scheduling

Communication is conducted via email, video conferencing, or scheduled phone calls. Meetings must be confirmed at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled time. Missed meetings without notice will be billed as completed sessions.

13. Refunds and Termination

Due to the nature of creative services, no refunds are issued once work has commenced. If the Client terminates the project early, any outstanding balance for completed work is immediately due. If the Ghostwriter terminates the contract, the Client will not be billed for uncompleted portions.

14. Delivery and Timelines

Delivery timelines are contingent upon the Client’s timely participation, feedback, and payment schedule. Delays caused by the Client may extend the overall project completion date and may incur additional charges.

15. Limitation of Liability

BoundlessHIM.com and Heather Ina are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Client’s use, publication, or interpretation of the completed work.

16. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
